In the first quarter of 2025, the Android platform in South Africa witnessed notable trends in the performance of top superhero games. Here's a closer look at the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Marvel Contest of Champions experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, beginning the quarter with about $5.3K and ending at approximately $1.1K. Downloads peaked at 1.5K in early February, while active users saw a high of 3.3K during the same period.

DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE showed strong revenue growth, particularly in late January with a peak of $3.3K. The game achieved its highest download figures of 9.5K in mid-February, and active users reached 18.4K around the same time.

DC: Dark Legion™, a newer entrant, recorded a significant revenue increase, climbing to $4K by late March. Downloads were initially high at 12.3K but decreased over the month, while active users peaked at 13K before declining.
